Friendship will Endure
Written Jan. 29, 1998
Sight burned away by anger
exhaustion
I regret the loss of a friend
We still keep up our
communications
But the strain of presence shows
We both want to change
take back
The mistakes and excuses we made
We want to erase a month
eradicate
But it seems so hard
Yet I cannot believe it is over
extinguished
Vanished from my life
Then I find that change is inevitable
ever flowing, ever moving
Friendship will endure
